![]() Her goal may be to collect the mana crystal shard gems in order to restore her power and the Demon Realm, but her immediate human needs tend to get in the way of her plans. Starting later in the season and having 20 episodes total, a weird number but welcome none the less, Jahy-sama is a funny story of a the Demon King’s second in command becoming a nearly powerless figure in the human world after the destruction of the mana crystal from which she draws her power and likewise the Demon Realm by the hands of the hero magical girl. Hopefully the international audience which seems to generally like it will garner attention to the producers and alike to at least finish the story properly, as I’d definitely look forward to it. Normally I would say that I’d expect a second season, but I’ve heard that the Japanese audience doesn’t seem to like his show that much, which may dictate whether or not this anime series will continue. The ending of this season ended on a cliffhanger, hinting that the story should continue in some fashion. I don’t want to spoil too much about the story, but at the same time it’s not over. However the future is not as easy to predict, especially when the butterfly effect can affect things that you didn’t expect or think about until it’s too late. What I expected is that he would succeed in changing his life for the better and achieving his dream. What’s really interesting is that the story is not as straightforward as you would expect. In this case, the main character Hashiba Kyouya goes back in time to go back to college to pursue his creative dream, to work alongside the “Platinum Generation”, a group of similarly-aged famous creators in his original timeline. Similar to the anime ReLIFE, it’s about someone redoing part of their life in the past. I enjoyed this anime as it’s something I can relate to as someone who’s now in his 30s. In the middle of a forest, a lone Golem comes across "it": a disheveled human dressed in rags and bound by chains.
